What is soda blasting?

Soda blasting (bicarbonate of soda) is a process that uses compressed air and baking soda to safely strip and clean almost any surface. Soda will not damage common substrates such as metal, glass, rubber, and concrete. It will safely remove grease, paint, mold and light surface rust, as well as eliminate odors in most cases. The Natrium Soda blast media we use at WNC Soda Blast is an environmentally friendly, non-toxic and non-hazardous food grade product and is also 100% water-soluble. Soda blasting will effectively strip and clean without etching the substrate, unlike sandblasting or other harsh abrasives or chemicals.
